Brenner Base Tunnel is a 55 km long nearly horizontal rail tunnel with 2 parallel tubes that run through the base of Eastern Alps. This tunnel runs between the railway stations of Innsbruck and Fortezza and is connected to South Innsbruck by an underground by-pass.
