Countries like the UAE in the MENA region, which have witnessed impressive economic growth during the last two-three decades, have been heavily investing in their healthcare system to improve the overall healthcare and lifestyle of its citizens.
The present trend shows that the countries of the MENA are adopting precision medicine technique to treat the disorders with no available standard cure.
Precision medicine is based on the concept of providing customized healthcare, treatment, product and medical advice to the individual patient according to the genomic understanding of the patient’s diseases. The patient’s genetic content or other molecular and cellular analysis are done in order to select the appropriate and optimal therapies to treat individual patients.
