Premature Ejaculation Definition Statistics

Premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual disorders faced by men of all ages. It is a common form of sexual dysfunction affecting up to 39% of men in the world. There are multiple definitions of premature ejaculation with minimal consensus.
WHO defines premature ejaculation as persistent or recurrent ejaculation with minimal stimulation before, on, or shortly after penetration and before the person wishes it, over which the sufferer has little or no voluntary control which causes the sufferer and/or his partner bother or distress.
This is by far the most credible definition of premature ejaculation that tries to define its scope clearly. However, it doesn’t discuss the timing and duration of the problem.
Back in 1980, Masters with his colleagues defined premature from a different perspective. He defined it as the inability to control and delay ejaculation until your female partner is sexually satisfied in at least 50% of sexual intercourse attempts.
