A lifelong love affair with watches

I've had an adult love affair with watches, primarily the non-quartz, mainspring kind that needs resetting constantly and attention of a skilled watchmaker when it runs into trouble Tissot still makes automatic Swiss watches but this original one was the only model I had and was my only time piece for years Over the years, I've owned and worn several Heuers, Hamiltons, Breitlings and a Rolex GMT-Master II that served as my primary watch while running around the world in different time zones and working out of Washington.
