I started Buckeye Telecom in 2003, after being in the telecom industry for a few years. I had been in the industry prior for a few years and decided there was a better way of purchasing telecom/technology. The old way didn't work. Companies were forced into believing that there was only one provider available for their services. Few knew of the Telecom Act of 1996, which allowed smaller carriers to compete with the Big Telecom providers for the same services.
