The Decepticons, once known as the Ascenticon-Kaon Imperial Republic, founded by Megatronus XV, secretly known as the Chancellor, Theodore "Tyrannus" Davidson/Trannis and figureheaded by the Sen. Valeria "Termos" Sanders/Termogax, they once tried to make a bid for total universal domination against Sentinel Prime, but only when Trannis' Successor, the Gen. Donald "Megatronus" Alexandersson, took the position as Megatronus XVI, and became Emperor, he then remolded them after a successful coup d'état against the corrupt Cybertronian Council, remade his followers into the Decepticons and renamed himself as Megatron. After a grueling fight between him and his former friend, Orion, now Optimus Prime, he led the Decepticons in an all-out War against the Autobots to achieve total supremacy over Cybertron, and the Universe, eventually, leading their war to the planet of Earth.
